Edward St. Clair, PT, DPT, Certified Hand Therapist
Edward St. Clair, DPT (Eddie) is the director of physical therapy for West Park Rehab. Eddie entered the medical field in 1988 when he was trained as a field medic in the United States Air Force. At that time, he also received his national EMT certification.
After completing his enlistment, he continued his education in Atlanta Georgia at DeKalb College and earned an Associate of Applied Science degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. He worked for 3 years under that license, specializing in the treatment of patients with traumatic brain injuries and spinal cord injuries at Shepard Pathways.
While at this clinic, he developed treatment programs using aquatic therapy for this special population. He also worked closely with patients suffering from inner ear dysfunction and vertigo. In addition, Eddie worked with orthopedic patients at North Fulton Hospital, treating patients with total joint replacements.
In 1996, he returned to Georgia State University to earn his Bachelor of Science degree as a Physical Therapist. Eddie then moved to Franklin in 1999 and established West Park Rehab along with co-owner Timothy Shell, PT.
While in practice, Eddie earned his Clinical Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Temple University in December of 2006. Collectively, he has completed four years of undergraduate studies followed by seven years of coursework specific to the field of physical therapy beginning in 1993. Most recently, Dr. St. Clair completed a rigorous course of study involving the upper extremity and then passed a national exam to earn his board certification in hand therapy.
In support of the field of physical therapy, St. Clair holds the position of chair of the Northwest District of the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association. Eddie currently specializes in the treatment of the thoracic spine and upper extremity: shoulder, elbow and hand.
Melissa "Missy" Crocker, PTA
Missy is a 1998 Physical Therapist Assistant graduate of Penn State University and currently has 14 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy.
Missy is a member of the APTA, PPTA and Orthopedic Section of the APTA. She is currently working on her advanced proficiency on orthopedics with the APTA.
Missy enjoys spending time with her two children, running, kayaking and being outdoors.

Jessica Collins, PT, DPT, Cert. MDT
Jessica Collins was born and raised in Oil City, PA. She is a 2001 graduate of Oil City High School. After high school, Jessica attended Gannon University were she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Sport and Exercise Science. She then continued her education at Gannon University and graduated in May 2008 with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Upon earning her doctorate, Jessica graduated first in her class, and was awarded Gannon's Academic Excellence Award.
Jessica began her physical therapy career in 2003 at Hamot Medical Center in Erie, PA as a physical therapy technician, working in both the acute care and sports medicine settings.
Jessica is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association. Jessica has also completed extensive coursework in one of the most effective forms of non-surgical back treatment call the McKenzie Method.
Jackie Switzer, PTA
Jackie Switzer was born and raised on a horse farm in Venango County. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Pittsburgh at Titusville in May 2010 with a Associate of Science degree in Physcial Therapist Assistant. Upon passing her state boards, she searched for a PTA job while working at Matric Limited in Seneca, PA. In August 2010, Jackie was hired at West Park Rehab as a Physcial Therapist Assistant.

Beth Carr DPT, CWS
Beth Carr was born and raised in Jamestown, PA where she graduated from Jamestown High School in 1993. She attended Slippery Rock University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Adapted Physical Activity and Rehabilitation in 1998. She continued her education at Slippery Rock University earning her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2001.
Beth began her physical therapy career in 2001 at Meadville Medical Center, where she specialized in workplace ergonomics, pediatrics and wound care. She went on to earn her certification in wound care as a Certified Wound Specialist, CWS, in 2004. She has worked in various settings in Physical Therapy to include long-term care, inpatient and outpatient.
Beth is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Pennyslvania Physical Therapy Association and the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care.
Ann Lowrey, PTA, CI
Ann is a 1987 graduate of Cranberry Area High School. Ann graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in the Physical Therapist Assistant program in April of 2000 from the University of Pittsburgh, Titusville Campus. Her focus of treatment has been with the geriatric population in the acute care and rehab setting. She has experience working with orthopedics, stroke, balance, Parkinson's, and other neuromuscular disorders. She joined West Park Rehab in December of 2007.
Ann received certification as a clinical instructor in January 2009 and achieved her advanced proficiency in Geriatrics in October 2009 from the American Physical Therapy Association. Ann also achieved the advanced proficiency in musculoskeletal from the American Physical Therapy Association in April 2012.
Ann currently holds the postition of treasurer with the Northwest District, chair of the Physical Therapist Assistant Special Interest Group, Physical Therapist Assistant Caucus representative and Practice Committe member all with the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association. She most recently became the PTA Advocate with the Section on Geriatrics of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Kim Shaffer, PTA
Kim Shaffer, PTA is a 2011 Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville with an Associate's degree in the Science of Physical Therapist Assistant. She was employed at West Park Rehab after passing her state boards. Prior to pursuing her Associates degree, she was employed by Dr. Charlton, DMD as a chair side dental assistant and you can still find her teaching group exercise classes at the Franklin YMCA. In the spring though, you will find her working alongside her mother, father, and brother producing maple syrup. Kim currently oversees the aquatic program at West Park Rehab.
Lisa Hugus, PTA
Lisa Hugus, PTA is a 2011 Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville with an Associate's degree in the Science of Physical Therapist Assistant. After passing her state boards, she was hired by West Park Rehab. Lisa is currently completing her training toward certification as a yoga instructor. Her leisure activities include spending time with her 5 children, her toy poodle, and her Devon Rex cat, bicycling, kayaking and knitting.
Athletic Trainers
Becky Barnes, ATC
Becky is a certified athletic trainer for West Park Rehab. She was born and raised in Franklin, PA. Becky is a 1993 graduate of Franklin High School. She attended Slippery Rock University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree/athletic training in 1998. She worked for 9 years as an athletic trainer with UPMC Northwest Sports Medicine.
Becky joined the West Park Rehab staff in July 2007. She has been the certified athletic trainer at Franklin High School for the past 10 years. Her goal is to give the local community the highest quality care of athletic injuries.
Becky is an active member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, Franklin Elks Lodge 110, and Wanango Country Club. Becky enjoys spending her free time on the golf course or with her chocolate lab, Callie.

Jessica Jack, Rehab Tech/Wellness, Wellness Products Supervisor
Jessica Jack is a 2006 graduate of Cranberry Jr./Sr. High School. After high school, Jessica attended Slippery Rock University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Gerontology in 2009. Jessica completed her internship at the Oil City YMCA, where she performed sports enhancement training and personal training. Currently, Jessica is a Rehab Aide at West Park Rehab. In addition, she is the nutrition expert and conducts Strength and Conditioning Programs with area athletes. Also, Jessica is the assistant girls' basketball coach at Oil City High School.
Jim Horner, Rehab Aide
Jim Horner was born and raised in Oil City, PA. He attend Robert Morris University and obtained an Associate's degree in Business. Jim retired from Polk Center after 35 years as a vocational rehabilitation counselor. Jim is a Rehab Aide at West Park Rehab.
Jackson Ferringer
Jackson was born and raised in Wallaceville, PA. He graduated Valedictorian from Maplewood High School in 2009 and is currently attending Slippery Rock University seeking a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
Jackson enjoys kayaking, playing guitar, and skiing.
Nick Wested, Rehab Tech
Nick Wested is a 2007 graduate of Franklin High School. He is currently a criminal justice major at Slippery Rock University. Nick enjoys playing and watching sports and spending time with friends and family.
